What is the effect?

Tell the story of the American Revolution and how the Continental congress chose a leader for the Continental Army! The entire story line is included!!

Invite 6 spectators (kids, teens, adults, doesn't matter!) on stage. Have the specs stand shoulder to shoulder facing the audience. Hand each a laminated card (could be 8x10, 11x17, bigger or smaller!). Make a comment about each picture or idea on the card.

Have a spectator pick a card ... any card, a free choice. Place it into a manila envelope.

Hand the envelope to another spectator. Make a comment about the card. Do some "magic," remove the card from the envelope. The card is there, but the contents of the card are missing. In place of the contents there is nothing but a cutout ... an outline of the picture that was there.

Hmmmm, walk over and point to a large cardboard "thing" that has been visible on stage the entire time. Stand it up, it is the missing cutout from the card. It may be as large as 6 feet high or higher depending.
